Tesoros Minerales

I am delighted to share that my exhibition project, Tesoros Minerales, has been selected for the 2026 Visual Arts Open Call at the Fundación Minera Escondida Art Gallery. The exhibition will be on view from August 4 to September 30, 2026, at the Fundación Minera Escondida Art Gallery in San Pedro de Atacama.

This exhibition brings together a series of works developed through my lived experience and work in the Atacama Desert. Through abstraction, I explore the relationship between territory, time, permanence, and transformation, observing both the natural processes that shape the landscape and the forms of companionship, care, and belonging that emerge among those who inhabit this environment.

Mineral Treasures offers a perspective on the desert that goes beyond its visible resources. The works invite viewers to reflect on what lies beneath the surface: the unseen paths of water, the traces accumulated over time, and the presences that sustain life within the territory.

I am deeply grateful for this opportunity and for the chance to share this body of work in a place as meaningful as San Pedro de Atacama, at the heart of the desert that inspired this series.
